There’s something very warm and inviting about Failte Irish Whiskey Bar, from its curved bar counter made from a walnut tree sliced in half and imported from the old country to its enormous cozy fireplace. Failte (pronounced Fall-cha in English) means "welcome" in Gaelic, and we stand by our name!

The bar on the main floor is very authentic-looking - red brick walls accented by a dark beamed ceiling. Fireplaces on both floors make it an excellent place to go and meet someone you know, or to meet someone new. The pub menu offers burgers, salads and Irish toasted sandwiches, which are always a favorite.

The crowd is a pleasantly mixed bunch – from pre-movie goers (the Kips Bay AMC Theatre is located right across the street) to neighborhood residents to young lovers of the East Side. There is a party room upstairs, which caters events for 20 to 100 people. It’s a perfect place to end or begin your night in damn good company.
